Just to mess with patients, as soon as they’re about to go under, I would start yelling, “WAIT WAIT WAIT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO……………” as they lapse into unconsciousness, just to freak them out for a few seconds. I would then be fired and sued for every cent I own, but it would totally be worth it.
